Welcome
Lombe Nsama
“Lombe Nasama's art is largely executed in acrylic on canvas using a palette knife. He is soft spoken, but his works seem to exude a lot of ”positive noise“. He depicts social traits in his work which is steadily getting a following from art collectors.” (Mulenga Chafilwa – Chairperson of the Zambia National Visual Arts Council).
Lombe Nsama was among the nine artists who facilitated the painting of the longest art work ever done in Zambia (more than 2000 children from all ten Provinces painted a 1.8km art piece depicting Zambian history) and has always been active in organizing
young artists’ workshops and exhibitions. An art teacher by profession and then studying for a degree in Fine Arts at the Zambian Open University he has gained significant recognition of his style and content in the past and developed an insight of advancing his career with wide exposure in many artistic ventures. Lombe Nsama has participated in numerous art exhibitions in Zambia in the past ten years and now another exhibition organized by the German Art Director can be seen at Lusaka International Community School from 23.02.2017 onwards.
The German Embassy Lusaka proudly presents him as the Artist of the Month in May 2015.
